Head of the master’s program in Composition for Media

Elad Adar is an Israeli composer, pianist, arranger, and music producer, born in 1979. He is a graduate of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in jazz performance and holds a master’s degree in Music, Media, and Technology from Bar-Ilan University. He currently serves as Head of the Performance and Music Production Track at Rimon School of Music, and as Head of the master’s program in Composition for Media at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.

Since the early 2000s, Adar has been active in the Israeli music industry as a composer, arranger, producer, and pianist, contributing to dozens of albums, stage productions, theater works, and television programs. Over the years, he has worked with leading artists including Gidi Gov, Alon Oleartchik, David Broza, Yoni Rechter, Yehudit Ravitz, Yehuda Poliker, Rita, Rami Kleinstein, David D’Or, and many others.

Among his notable projects are producing and arranging albums by Alon Oleartchik, producing David D’Or’s international album Voice of Love, accompanying Gidi Gov and David Broza in live performances, producing singles and works by Yoni Rechter, and serving as music producer for the 2025 reunion show of The Sixteenth Sheep. Adar has also performed with major Israeli orchestras and ensembles, including the Jerusalem Camerata, the Israeli Andalusian Orchestra, and the Israel Sinfonietta Be’er Sheva.
